Artist Statement — Anna Mercedes
From scenography and movement, I approach space as an extension of the body and as a psychological landscape in which presence and alienation converge. Within my practice, scenography functions not merely as design, but as an instrument for constructing narratives, tensions, and sensory experiences that interrogate the relationship between body, identity, and environment.
